Authentication data (via Firebase Auth)
B. App Usage Data
Habits, streaks, and habit completion logs
Mood and journal entries

D. Automatically Collected Data

We use your information only for legitimate business and app operation purposes, including:
To provide and personalize your experience within HabTrak
To store your habits, mood logs, and journaling data securely

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase, which provides encryption in transit and at rest.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but you acknowledge that no internet-based service is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain user data as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data and associated habit/mood logs from our systems within 30 days.
6. Children’s Privacy
HabTrak is not intended for children under 13.
If you are under 13 (or under the minimum age in your country), you must have parental consent to use HabTrak.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from minors without consent, we will delete that data immediately.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your personal data except in the following cases:
Service Providers: We may use Firebase or other analytics tools for app performance and bug tracking.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or in response to a valid legal process.
Business Changes: If HabTrak is merged or acquired, user data may transfer under the same privacy protections.
8. International Data Transfers
HabTrak operates in the United States, but user data may be processed and stored in multiple regions via Firebase’s global infrastructure.
By using HabTrak, you consent to the transfer and storage of your data outside your country of residence.
